Technology in the IMS
Library
We have 33 networked Macintosh
computers for student use in the IMS Library. PC users: Macs can read
PC files, especially those created with Microsoft Office software
(Word, Excel, Powerpoint). In general, you can increase the
chances that our Macs will understand your PC files if your
filenames have the appropriate extension (.doc or .docx for
Word, .xls or .xlsx for Excel, .ppt or .pptx for
PowerPoint). If you are using a different program
for word processing, save in text (.txt) or Rich Text (.rtf) format
if possible.
